Before the album's release on November 4, Condé Nast alleged that the rappers disregarded requests to stop using the fictitious cover. The album ‘Her Loss’ was promoted, according to Condé Nast, the magazine's publisher, "wholly on the use of the 'Vogue' marks," including the fictitious magazine cover.
